If we have to explain more precisely, endodontics is the branch of dentistry that find diagnosis and treatment for dental pulp(nerve tissue) and tissues surrounding the teeth diseases.

Root canal operation is the treatment that finds a solution for decay, trauma, fracture and sometimes prosthetic conditions which occurs on teeth. This treatment involves extraction of tissues which defined as pulpal tissue, wash up and shaped by specific tools, fill root canal sealing material which synonymous with dental tissue. Ideal root canal treatment can be completed in one session but in cases where the inflammation status of roots is advanced, it can be 2-3 session.
