What is Peridontal Disease(Periodontology) ?

Periodontology is a department of dentistry that aims examine the tissue and these tissue’s health situation at disease on teeth and gingiva, diagnoses of diseases that occur in these tissues and protect the health on treatment/ after treatment.

Healthy gingivas look like, generally light pink color, mat, like an orange surface, have firm consistency(non-bleeding) and ending like a knife ridge before thickening on the tooth surface.

What are the Causes of Gingiva Diseases?

The first reason of gingival disease is as an accumulation of microorganism in teeth and gingival’s all surface called "microbial dental plaque" and they occur the result of irregular and not effective brushing. If these plaques will not be cleaned, microorganisms and detrimental substances produce the cause of tooth decay and gingival disease.
